How to find "do follow" blogs with "CommentLuv"

Everybody who has been in website marketing a while knows that leaving comments on related blogs with back links to your website is one of the key ways to increase traffic and page rank for your site. However doing so may get your comments moderated and deleted.

Recently the WordPress plugs “CommentLuv” and “KeywordLuv” have been becoming increasingly popular. Basically the owner of the site is encouraging comments on their blog and in return is offering back links. By entering your URL in the header of your comments, CommentLuv will provide a link to your most recent blog post as a footer to your comment, and KeywordLuv will make your name/keywords a hyperlink back to your website as well. This can give you up to two free back links to your site just for CONTRIBUTING to the site’s article you are commenting on.

However some of these blogs are setup as “no follow” and search engine’s crawlers will not count those links for your page rank. Not all is lost as your links will still generate traffic, but knowing they do dual purpose makes the effort even more worth while.

It is easy to do searches in Google which will only return blogs with CommentLuv/KeywordLuv and are “do follow”.

In Google blog search section add type in:

"KEYWORD" intext:"CommentLuv enabled"

Where KEYWORD is what you are searching for blogs on. Similarly if you want KeywordLuv blogs replace or add + intext:"Keywordluv enabled". You will then be rewarded with blogs which will give you a lot of links, and of course the blogs with the highest page rank will be returned on the front page!!

To find blogs which are also “do follow” you add the following command:

+ dofollow

However “dofollow” may just be in the text some where rather than a statement that the site does support do follow.

Another option is a Firefox addin called “NoDoFollow” which will indicate which links are do follow or no follow.
